According to an article in the New York Times, a convicted pedophile serving a 14-year sentence in a Canadian federal prison admitted that looking at child pornography didn’t gratify this sexual desires, but fueled them. “Because there is no way I can look at a picture of a child on a video screen and not get turned on by that and want to do something about it,” he said. “I knew that in my mind. I knew that in my heart. I didn’t want it to happen, but it was going to happen.”
