KICKS SOLE PROVIDER - Nike Vandal Meets Vintage.

One of the best releases from Nike Vintage is the three-pack of original colorways of the nylon Nike Vandal. Available in red, metallic silver, and black, the pack has hit retail stores like Los Angeles Kicks Sole Provider in late August. The Nike Vintage Vandal High [325317-061] features the use of nylon and Velcro on the upper with an aged look – slightly weathered with yellowed midsoles. It’s like stepping back into 1984.

The red features a nice contrasting silver swoosh, the silver has a red swoosh, and the black has a gold swoosh. Real vintage pairs of these classics are huge in Japan right now. One Japanese collector named Hilo still has wanted ads up on his website paying $3000 a pop for original vintage Vandals. The rest of us can find them at most Nike retailers, as well as Los Angeles Sneakers Boutiques – but only in the coolest parts of town.
